There are so many online money making programs out there that it's hard for a beginner or those new in this industry to pick a product. When looking to buy a product online, I always use the following criteria to weigh them:
Realistic Product
Everyone wants to make big money, and scammers will use it to their advantage. So very often you will always see an online money making program claiming to "Make 10k Overnight", or "Easy Money With No Work!"
You only defense is to not be swayed by these fancy offers. Sit down and think through, you and I know that there's no way money can be made that easily. If it is that easy, everyone would quit their job, buy these program and sit at home for the rest of their life without working. There's no way you can make money online without hard work and effort!
So, the 1st thing to consider when buying a product is to think whether its realistic! Can it be done? Is it possible? Advertisement generally thread on a very thin line of truth, it usually makes outrage claims to gain attention but there's a limit so take note and not be taken in by flashy ads.
Support & Service
The next thing you would want to look at is the level of support of service.
Put in this way, if a person is out to scam you, he will only think of ways to make you pay-up. All the things he do revolves around pay money, pay more money and pay even more money. Why would he bother to provide quality support & service? Send him an inquiry message and his reply would be asking you to buy this and buy that. This is the kind of support he will give and so you can be sure its a scam.
One who's truly interested in providing a service/product will put his heart and soul in it. Take a real life shopping experience for example, a good customer service staff will entertain your needs and make you shopping trip as informative and hassle free as possible. Even if your not buying anything, they will still treat you with the exact same courtesy and offer their help. I am sure you will leave feeling very impressed with their level of service and i am almost certain you will patronize their shop again.
The same thing applies here online, if a person is truly trying to provide a product/service, they not overlook this aspect and try to re-created the same level of support. This is how you discern the goods from the bad.
